Grooming the donkeys

Patricia said it is very important to groom the donkeys every day or else they get huge knots in their mane, tail and fur.It was fun grooming them. Annemarie showed us how to clean their eyes and pick their hooves with a hoof-pick. It is also very important to clean their hoovs and eyes regularly.

Did you know that donkeys have their nails cut by a person called a farrier?  They file the donkeys nails and cut them with special tools. We also brushed the donkeys and they told us all the names of the brushes but I can't remember them!
